Job Description
The PEP Foundation is a Non Profit Organisation that supports programmes in South African no-fee public schools, including operating after-school centres. The foundation is seeking a Programme Administrator to ensure smooth day-to-day operations across our programmes, supporting both the Programme Manager and Head of Foundation. This is an opportunity to make your mark as a member of a foundation with big plans to support education in South Africa. We await your strong administration skills that will become the backbone of the team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain staff records (contracts, resignations, new hires).
- Prepare payroll reports.
- Administer weekly and monthly payments.
- Coordinate programme calendars, training schedules, and school visits.
- Prepare monthly reports from programme dashboards – and ensure that all dashboards are up to date monthly.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to schools and project sites.
- Support programme culture by assisting with communication and coordination.
Job Requirements
- Relevant qualification in administration, finance, or project support preferred.
- Strong administrator with excellent organisational and detail-management skills.
- Proficiency in managing data systems and advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.
- Task-oriented, reliable, and able to handle multiple priorities.
- Enjoys working with people and contributing to a values-driven team.
- Cause driven and determined to serve the best interests of both beneficiaries and donors.
- Ideally, someone who has experience of working with public schools and who is familiar with the sector.
